As a chronic people-pleaser, this is my advice for success.
Offer as little as possible. Be terse. Get rid of all those exclamation marks and tidbits about why you want to take a sick day. State your needs clearly and concisely without reason. Start saying “No, I’m unable.” more often. Say Thank You only when the other party deserves it.
Actually your society is the freaks for shooting everything that moves and burning half your "nature reserves" every year so that upperclass dandies can eat leaded pheasant. North Americans are the well adjusted ones here, your country has become a desolate suburban lawn in island form
if thousands of conservatives could quit bud light over making a SINGLE can with a trans persons face on it, you can quit chic fil a for them donating millions to anti lgbtq groups and harry potter for being written by the face of TERFS.
Don't let conservatives be the ones with the stronger resolve, guys. If we want to act like we're better than them, we're gonna have to like... Actually be better at following our own ideologies.
